The 2 Year-old Program (2-3 years)
The 2 year-old preschool programs introduce the children to an array of hands-on exploration experiences. The teachers understand the development of the 2 year-old and use the Multiple Intelligence Theory accordingly. Two year-olds strive for independence and the classroom environment reflects lots of opportunities for them to build it. The many activities throughout the day include stories and songs for language development, literacy and phonemic awareness. There is also science, child processed art, dramatic play, music and movement, sensory opportunities, and social interactions with their peers. Language development includes introduction to the Hebrew, Spanish and sign language. Many activities are planned to help your child develop problem solving skills, independent thinking, self-help skills, and self-control. Potty training is included! Our student/teacher ratio is 6/1.
